Hello!
It has been quite a busy first few days with seminars, shopping, interviews, and even cooking! The most important however has been going out and evangelising! We were divided into groups and sent to different parts of the city where we initiated spiritual conversations with people. My partner and I were fortunate to meet three people who were searching but were unsure because of 'religion'. I am glad to know and feel the distinction between what is a religion and a what's a relationship with God, and because not many people know the difference I feel it is a more personal goal to go out and explain that to people.
It is really breaking down a faith barrier in regards to making the transition from a general talk to deep spiritual things. It can happen anywhere, and one of the groups proved it by staying within the Calgary transit system for the entire day and sharing with riders. I know of one person who had even prayed to receive Christ while riding the railway car! Praise God!
There are always resources to help you share, the key is to be sure to know where to look and use them once. All the best,
Peter
