Hello!

This has been an amazing past weekend, as I spent it in Toronto with friends and family. It was especially good because it was also Easter weekend, something that means more to me each time I think about it - Jesus taking my place so that I may live. An image that I had is from John 1:29 "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (ESV) and just how thankful I am for just everything that He has done and continues to do in each of our lives.

It is why mission trips like these are the reason people go out and spread the gospel; not only because it is a commandment but also as a way to show that God has done so much more. Like it says in John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" (NIV). I would want nothing more than to see even the slightest acquaintence I come into contact with be in heaven with me!

The other exciting news is that I also bought my Calgary plane ticket! And although I'm juggling a few things, I'm very excited about this month of April. I have most of my support letters sent out but there are still a few more that are needed before I can. Thank you so much for your support, especially your prayers. Prayer truly is the most effective way Christians can rely on God with what He is doing in our lives; remember that prayer always takes precedence. All the best,
