Hello!

So I have decided to create a blog to keep supporters, family, and friends updated on my national mission trip to Calgary this summer. I will be leaving May 1 for 12 weeks, returning August 1. Woo hoo!

I remember the anxiety of waiting for my application to be processed and how God answered my prayers in His most perfect timing. It reminds me of where I was one year ago, still trying to decide what to do and where to go for my post-secondary education, and now I am settled at Carleton University and looking forward to what God has planned for me next. It is at these times that I really grab hold of the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 - " 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' "
